Mustafa Zontur graduated from Karabük TED College in 1977. Mustafa Zontur, together with his decedent father Hasan Zontur, who was the founder of group companies, started his business life in Sabah Iron and Steel Company in 1968. Starting from his childhood years, he worked with his father until his father’s death in 1986, leading the company to expand trade volume and to be present in different locations of our country. In 1984, Mustafa Zontur served as the “Founding Partner” and “Member of Board” in Zontur Iron and Steel Industry Inc., and he took office at in BMS United Metal Industry Trade Inc. as the “Founding Partner” and “Member of Board” in 1999, and later in 2004, he was assigned to BMS Steel Wire Mesh Industry and Trade Inc. as the “Founding Partner” and “Member of Board”. In addition to business life, by taking responsibilities in the field of both non-governmental organizations and sports activities; he served as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Wrestling Federation in 2004-2008 and “Founding Member” of ASEM Ankara Political and Economic Research Center in 2013. Mustafa Zontur is currently “ViceChairman of the Management Board” of BMS United Metal Inc., “Member of the Board of Directors” of BMS Wire Mesh Inc., and “Member of the Board of Directors” of Zontur Iron and Steel Industry Trade Inc. Mustafa Zontur is married and has three children.

After graduating from Karabük TED College in 1981, Ali Zontur completed his higher education graduating from Marmara University, Department of English Language and Literature in 1988. He started his professional career in 1988 in Zontur Iron and Steel Industry Inc. as a partner and continued to engage in commercial activities in the iron and steel sector until 1999. In 1999, he took charge as the “Founding Partner” and “Chairman of the Executive Board” in BMS United Metal Industry Trade Inc. In 2004, he was assigned to BMS Steel Wire Mesh Industry and Trade Inc. as the “Founding Partner” and “Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors”. In parallel with business life by taking responsibilities in non-governmental organizations; he has undertaken and continue his duties as “Deputy Chairman” and “Board Member” in Iskenderun Industrialists’ and Businessmen’s Association since 2002, Turkish-American Businessmen’s Association (TABA – AmCham) Çukurova Region Board Member since 2007, Iskenderun Sailing Club “Board Member” and the “Deputy Chairman” since 2008. Ali Zontur is also still a “Board Member” at BMS United Metal Industry Inc., “Vice Chairman of the Board” at BMS Wire Mesh Inc., and Zontur Iron and Steel Industry Trade Inc. as the “Chairman of the Board”. Ali Zontur is married and has two children.

Ünal Gökmen graduated from Uludağ University Faculty of Economics in 1986. He started his career as a “Financial Analyst” at Garanti Bank in 1986. Between 1993 and 2000, he worked as “Bayrampaşa Branch Manager”, “Yenibosna Branch Manager” and “Levent Branch Manager” at Garanti Bank. Between 2000 and 2012, he undertook the task of “Regional Manager” in Adana, Mersin, Gaziantep, and Istanbul Anatolian Side regions. Between 2012-2020, Financial Institutions Association “Board Member”, between 2012-2021 Garanti Leasing “General Manager” and “Board Member”. In addition, between 2018-2020 Ünal Gökmen, who served as the “Representation Board Chairman” and “Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors” in the leasing sector, he is currently an “Independent Member of the Board of Directors” at BMS Wire Mesh Inc. and, he continues to serve as an “Independent Member of the Board of Directors” at BMS United Metal Industry Inc. Ünal Gökmen is married and has one child.

İbrahim Köse graduated from Hacettepe University Construction Department and Anadolu University Economics Department. He started his career as a “Section Chief” in the construction site work processes of various construction projects between 1985 and 1988, worked as a manager in various units at Prokon-Ekon Group of Companies between 1988-2001, and he continued his business life as a “Partner” in Prokon-Ekon Group of Companies and “Member of the Board of Directors” between 2001-2018; He worked as a senior manager responsible for administrative and financial business processes in the construction of Iron and Steel, Cement, Energy and Housing projects. In the iron and steel industry; Kardemir, Erdemir, İsdemir, Asil Çelik investments, In the cement sector; Çimko Cement, Aşkale Cement, Ankara Cimpor Yibitaş Cement, Tunisia Chartage Cement cement factories investments, In the energy sector; He has been involved in the execution of many projects such as Ambarlı Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant, Gebze New Electricity Natural Gas Cycle Power Plant, Giresun Vanazit HEPP (hydroelectric plant) and Ankara Central Factory Building GES (revenue- indexed bonds) investment, Ankara Parliamentarians Site Residences (216 villas) and Çorlupark Residences (450 residences) in the construction sector. İbrahim Köse served as an “Independent Board Member” at BMS Wire Mesh Inc. in 2021 and at the same time as BMS Wire Mesh Inc. He started to work as “Audit Committee Member” and “Early Risk Detection Committee Chairman” in the Board of Directors. He assumed the position of “Independent Board Member” at BMS United Metal Inc. Hasan ZONTUR

Board Member

Hasan ZONTUR was born in 1984 in Karabük, Turkey. He completed his primary education at Yenişehir Primary School (Karabük), and his secondary and high school education at Mehmet Emin Resulzade Anatolian High School in Ankara. In 2007, he graduated from Yeditepe University in Istanbul with a degree in International Trade and Business Administration, receiving a full scholarship from the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).

Between 2007 and 2008, he attended the UCLA Extension Program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he successfully completed a certification in International Business Studies. In 2020, he also completed the Financial Literacy program at TOBB University of Economics and Technology, earning a certificate of achievement.

Hasan Zontur began his professional career at Boğaç Profil. From 2009 to 2011, he worked as a Sales Assistant Specialist, and between 2011 and 2013, he served as a Sales Specialist at BMS Birleşik Metal (BMS Tel). From 2013 to 2017, he held the position of Sales Manager, followed by Deputy General Manager responsible for Marketing and Sales between 2017 and 2021. In 2021, he was appointed as General Manager, and as of January 2024, he serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at BMS Birleşik Metal A.Ş.

He played a leading role in establishing BMS Wire’s export department and expanding its reach to 45 countries by the end of 2022. He also spearheaded the inclusion of innovative and industry-leading products into the company’s portfolio.

Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Hasan Zontur has been actively involved in various NGOs. He served as a member of the Oman Trade Delegation within DEİK (Foreign Economic Relations Board) and currently continues his role as a member of the Eswatini Trade Delegation. He is also an alternate member of the Board of Directors of the Steel Foreign Trade Association and actively participates in its Foreign Relations Committee.

In addition to his professional and social commitments, he enjoys playing guitar and piano as hobbies. Since 2021, he has been a member of the Turkish Young Businessmen Association (TÜGİAD).
He is fluent in English, married, and a father of two.
